    Welcome to the internal web pages of the trilateral coopertion between Russia, Finland and Norway about nature protection and management in the Pasvik-Inari region. Five nature protection areas, one in Russia and Finland each, and three in Norway, constitutes the common Pasvik-Inari Trilateral Park.

       'Pasvik-Inari Trilateral Park is an internationally
       recognised sustainable nature tourism   
       destination known for its wilderness characters and   
       natural, cultural and historical values.
       Promotion of nature conservation and sustainable
       nature tourism preserves the core values
       and contributes to the sound development of the area'.
     
    The web site is aimed at the people involved in this cooperation from Russia, Finland and Norway. Here you can se how the cooperation work is progressing and how it is organised. All relevant information of the cooperation will be collected here.
     
    Information about the Interreg project  'Promotion of nature protection and sustainable nature tourism in the Inari-Pasvik area'  is collected under the folder 'Interreg project'.

    September 1st-3rd, 2010: Annual meeting of the Pasvik-Inari Trilateral Park Advisory Board and Working Group for Nature Tourism, in Inari. See Program, agenda and map.

    June 5th 2010 - World Environmental Day: 'Simulataneous' bird watching trips in the three countries; Finland in Ivalo and Lake Inari surroundings, Norway at Noatun and Nyrud and in Russia in Rajakoski vicinity. List of observations.

    April 15th 2010: Work shop on develpoment of a new multilateral project "PAX NATURA - Our common Arctic Heritage" in Vadsø. See program

    March 13th 2010: Trilateral skiing team took part in the annual Barents skiing event from Rajakoski in Russia to the three nations border mark "treriksrøyset".
    December 7th-9th 2009: Joint meetings of the Advisory Board and Working Group for Nature Tourism, in Rajakoski.

    June 16th-18th, 2009: Joint hiking trip along the Piilola Wildeness Trail, Sortbrysttjern-Kessi (35 km). See map
     
    June 16th-18th, 2009: Official joint opening of the Piilola Wilderness Trail (a transboundary hiking trail between Norway and Finland), at Sortbrysttjern (Øvre Pasvik) and 18th in Nellim (Inari). See program and information
